Track 42: Kidney and Pancreas Transplant

A kidney and pancreas transplant is a surgical procedure in which a patient receives both a new kidney and a pancreas, typically from a deceased donor. This combined transplant is often performed on individuals who have both end-stage kidney failure and type 1 diabetes that is difficult to manage with insulin.
